I'd love to volunteer, how can I get involved?
It's really easy to get involved. We post details our our weekly litter picks on our Facebook page each week. We normally have a socially distanced litter pick every SUNDAY morning ~ you just turn up, collect your equipment and start picking up litter.
What happens to the litter that I collect?
At the end of each litter pick all bags/items are placed in one area and are collected by the Care for Your Area team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

Can I just go litter-picking on my own as I'm not available on a Sunday morning?
Yes, absolutely! We have lots of volunteers who go out on "solo" litter-picks. You will need to use your own equipment/bags and put any litter you collect into our own household waste.
Can I bring my children to the Sunday litter-picks?
Yes you can! Children love getting involved and it's a great way for them to learn about the impact of littering and how they can do something to help in their local community. We have special "mini grabbers" for the children to use.
